Cons

• Good, not great, display
• Subpar speaker
• Lousy cameras

2. Motorola Xoom

Pros

• Honeycomb OS lives up to hype
• Amazing display
• Great Tegra 2 performance

Cons

• Android tablet apps limited at launch
• Movie streaming option limited
• Awkward app management in Honeycomb

3. Blackberry Playbook

Pros

• Browser is awesome - can even do FB Chat
• swiping to move from screen to screen and multi-task
• Camera and video is pretty nice

Cons

• Not a lot of apps
• No native email, BBM, TXT
• No universal search

4. HP Slate

Pros

• Wonderful inking experience 
• Native Windows application support
• Good number of connections and ports
• Strong video playback capabilities

Cons

• Doesn't support a lot of touch optimized software
• Low battery life compared to ARM based slates
• Expensive compared to consumer slates
• Poor viewing angles in primary landscape mode

5. Viewsonic ViewPad 7

Pros

• Solid and convincing performance
• Responsive display and quality multitouch
• Excellent connectivity and call quality with SIM card
